GIGYA

Before You Begin

You will need your GIGYA API Key, User Key, and User Secret to authorize Lytics to interact with your GIGYA account.

Authentication

  1. Navigate to the GIGYA integration in the Integrations section of Lytics.

  2. If this is your first time using GIGYA you will be prompted to choose one of integrations explained below. Choose one.

  3. Connect GIGYA to Lytics by clicking the Add new authorization button.
    NOTE: You will only do this once per GIGYA account.

  4. You will be prompted for the following keys:

    • API Key: Copy and paste from your GIGYA account dashboard.

    • User Key: Copy and paste from your GIGYA account settings. From your GIGYA account navigate to your GIGYA account settings. Select YOUR NAME > Account.
    • User Secret: Copy and paste from your GIGYA account settings. From your GIGYA account navigate to your GIGYA account settings. Select YOUR NAME > Account.

    • Description: Enter a description for your auth so it can be identified from other GIGYA auths. gigya integration authenticate
  5. Click Authorize.

Your credentials are now stored securely and can be used to export to or import from GIGYA.

Export to GIGYA

You can export a Lytics audience to your GIGYA account.

  1. Navigate to the GIGYA integration in the Integrations section of Lytics.

  2. Connect Lytics to GIGYA if you have not previously done so. See the Authentication section.
  3. Click Export Users.

  4. Select the authorization you would like to use and click Select.

  5. From the Audience drop-down list, select the Lytics audience you would like to export to GIGYA.
  6. (Optional) From the Gigya ID Field drop-down list, select the Lytics field containing the user's GIGYA ID.
  7. (Optional) From the Storage drop-down list, select the location to store the exported users in GIGYA.
  8. (Optional) If you would like users and their activity to be updated daily, check Keep Updated.
  9. (Optional) If the Keep Updated checkbox is selected, use the Time of Day drop-down list to select when the export will run. If left blank, the import will run every 24 hours.
  10. (Optional) The Timezone drop-down list selects the time zone to use for Time of Day.

  11. Click Start Export.

Contacts should be available in the GIGYA within a few minutes of starting the work. Larger audiences may take a few hours to be completely added to GIGYA.

Import Users

You can import GIGYA contacts and email activity into Lytics. You can run a one time import or import data hourly.

  1. Navigate to the GIGYA integration in the Integrations section of Lytics.

  2. Connect Lytics to GIGYA if you have not previously done so. See the Authentication section.
  3. Select Import Users.

  4. Identify the authorization you would like to use and click Select.

  5. (Optional) From the Extended Data Fields input, select the custom data fields you want to import from GIGYA. Fields moved to the right column will be imported into Lytics.
  6. (Optional) If the Keep Updated checkbox is selected, the import will run hourly.

  7. Click Start Import.

GIGYA contacts and email activity will be imported into Lytics.
