Azure Authorization

If you haven’t already done so, you will need to setup a Microsoft Azure account before you begin the process described below. There are two authorization options depending on the workflow you want to run.

Azure Storage Connection String

Use the Microsoft Azure Storage Connection String to import or export CSV file to and from Azure Blob storage. Please refer to Azure's documentation to setup the connection string for the Blob storage, and then follow the steps below to connect Lytics with Azure:

  1. Navigate to Microsoft Azure in the Integrations section of Lytics.azure tile
  2. Navigate to Authorizations.
  3. Click New Authorization.
  4. Click Create Azure Storage Connection String. azure-cs-auth
  5. In the Connection String box, enter the connection string for the Blob storage.
  6. (Optional) In the AES Key in Hex box, enter an AES key as a hex string to AES-encrypt specified fields in the Azure Blob files.
  7. (Optional) In the AES IV in Hex box, enter an AES key as a hex string to AES-encrypt specified fields in the Azure Blob files.
  8. (Optional) In the PGP Key box, enter a PGP public key to encrypt Azure Blob files.
  9. In the Description box, enter a name for your authorization. azure-cs-auth-process
  10. Click Authorize.

Azure Event Hub

Use the Microsoft Azure Event Hub authentication method to export Lytics Audiences to Azure Event hub. You will need the Event Hub Connection String to successfully complete the authentication process described below:

  1. Navigate to Microsoft Azure in the Integrations section of Lytics. azure tile
  2. Navigate to Authorizations.
  3. Click New Authorization.
  4. Click Create Azure Event Hub. azure-eventhub
  5. In the Event Hub Connection String box, enter the connection string to connect to the Event Hub.
  6. In the Description box, enter a name for your authorization. azure-eventhub-auth
  7. Click Authorize.
